Lady Gaga Teams Up With M.A.C for a Second Time

We know there are many sides to this gorgeous, unique individual; Lady Gaga expresses herself through her artistry, her style and her music. Now, Lady Gaga and M.A.C have released a brand new lipstick shade and it is truly a Lady Gaga creation, she designed it herself and now she can’t wait to share it with all of you.

And that’s not all! All the proceeds (yes, the lot!) from the sale of VIVA Glam lipstick goes directly to the M.A.C AIDS Fund. Lady Gaga returns for the second time as VIVA GLAM spokesperson, which is the heart of the M.A.C Aids Fund.

Over the years M.A.C has worked with many style icons including Rupaul, Fergie, Mary J Blige, Dita von Tease and Missy Elliot, raising millions for people affected by HIV. Lady Gaga is dedicated to make it the most successful campaign yet and aims to raise $50 million.

The M.A.C AIDS Foundation was established in 1994 and since then has helped millions of families and individuals who are living with the devastating effects of this disease. HIV and AIDS are preventable diseases, raising awareness and keeping the research going is important, but we cannot forget those who struggle each day and their families that stand by them. Their quality of life means a lot.

Lady Gaga wants to promote self acceptance and rebirth, and she feels that M.A.C represents that and wants all of us to live with more passion. Her message is to look inward, to value self respect and protection. She wants each of us to love ourselves enough to demand safe sex.

The new commercial for this new Viva Glam is stunning yet strangely subdued. The setting and overall look is soft and wonderful to watch. You can’t take your eyes off of the beautiful Lady Gaga; she permeates the screen with her sensuality, without going to her usual extremes. It has a haunting quality that is very effective.
